Equipment Advices

The choice of the right equipment is a key factor of success for your race. In August in the Mont Blanc massif, it can be very hot (over 30°C), but it can also be very cold (up to -10°C above 2000m), rainy, haily or even snowy. Your equipment must allow you to face all types of conditions and to be able to spend one or two nights on the route, depending on your speed of progress. In the event of an incident, your equipment must also allow you to wait for help in sufficiently safe conditions. It is important to note that the equipment imposed by the organizer is a vital minimum that each trailer must adapt according to its own capacities.
