Adelboden-Kandersteg

The chalet villages of Adelboden, Kandersteg lie directly beneath the world-famous peaks of the Bernese Oberland: Wildstrubel, Balmhorn and Blüemlisalp. From their glacier-covered heights, murmuring mountain streams flow through deep gorges into clear mountain lakes. The surrounding mountain landscape also includes flowering pastures where herdsmen and women continue to practise traditional alpine farming with cows, sheep and even llamas.

Thanks to its natural beauty and hospitality, the destination has been a constant attraction to visitors from home and abroad for countless years. As a result, the region boasts a solid and comprehensive infrastructure for its guests. Plenty of sun, expansive views and fresh mountain air: the Adelboden-Lenk-Kandersteg area is perfect for a variety of outdoor activities in summer with an extensive trail network. Leukerbad

Leukerbad is the largest and highest thermal resort in the Alps and is situated at around 1400 metres in the heart of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park in a unique mountain panorama of the Valais Alps. The destination of Leukerbad also includes the neighbouring communities of Albinen, Inden and Varen - with their tradition and history exciting additions. Thanks to the thermal springs, Leukerbad has a rich history. For more than 500 years, Leukerbad has welcomed guests from all over the world, including illustrious personalities such as Johann W. von Goethe and Mark Twain or tourism pioneer Thomas Cook.

Every day, 3.9 million litres of natural thermal water with a temperature of up to 51 degrees bubble up from the more than 60 springs. Three public thermal baths and a broad wellness and spa offer, provide year-round activity and relaxation. The destination of Leukerbad also offers a varied range of activities for health and wellness guests, hikers, snow sports enthusiasts, mountain bikers or pleasure seekers of all generations 365 days a year.
