Missions
Course Marking & Course Clean-Up
You will work on the race courses in the heart of nature to install course markings for runners and help prepare the route while minimizing the environmental impact of the event. After the race, you will be responsible for collecting and removing all course markings from the field.
Bars & Refreshment Stands
You will help run the bars and refreshment stands across the event site. You will welcome and serve runners, supporters, and spectators in a friendly atmosphere, manage stock supplies, and ensure your area remains clean and organized throughout your shift.
Mobility Volunteers
You help facilitate transportation and movement for the different stakeholders of the event (runners, supporters, volunteers, and staff) between the various event sites and course locations. You oversee shuttle access and help coordinate the flow of people to ensure smooth and efficient event logistics.
Volunteer Office
You are the main point of contact for all event volunteers. You welcome and register volunteers, distribute uniforms and briefing information, and answer questions throughout the event to ensure everyone has the support they need.
Drivers
You are responsible for safely transporting the different event stakeholders using organization vehicles. You help coordinate the movement of staff, equipment, and event contributors according to the operational needs of the event
Clean Team (Event Village Cleanliness)
You help maintain the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the event village and shared event spaces. You raise awareness among volunteers, supporters, runners, and visitors about respecting the environment in order to minimize our impact. You monitor, clean, and maintain the different areas before, during, and after the race.
Kids Races
You help organize and supervise the races dedicated to children in Crans-Montana. You ensure the safety of the participants, guide young runners along the course, and help create a fun, friendly, and supportive atmosphere throughout the event.
Finish Area Management (Refreshments & Finisher Rewards)
You welcome runners at the finish line and help coordinate all post-race services available to them, including refreshments, finisher gifts, and medal distribution. You ensure that every runner is looked after in the best possible conditions after their race effort.
Logistics / Infrastructure
You are responsible for setting up and managing event sites before, during, and after the race. You help assemble and dismantle the infrastructure required to ensure the smooth running of the event across all locations.
Course Openers (by Bike)
You ride ahead of the runners on the course to check trail conditions, identify and report any issues on the terrain, and help maintain communication between the different checkpoints. You are comfortable riding on technical trails and able to operate independently in a mountain environment.
Race Control Center
You monitor the races in real time and help anticipate potential safety issues. You answer questions, provide information, and ensure that all runners safely reach their destination.
Aid Stations
You help with the logistical setup of the aid stations before the race, assist and serve runners during the event, and take part in dismantling and cleaning the aid stations after the runners have passed through.
Bib Distribution
You check identification documents and mandatory equipment, set up timing chips, and hand out race bib envelopes and souvenir gifts to the runners.
Runner bags
You are in charge of the recovery, the routing, the sorting of the bags and the return to the runner in the middle of the course or at the arrival.
Course Marshals
You are stationed at key points along the course - intersections, road crossings, and sensitive areas - to guide runners, ensure safe passage, and provide information to spectators and the public. You remain in contact with the organization to report any incidents or issues on the course.
Information Desk
You provide runners, supporters, and spectators with information about the event organization, schedule, transportation, and available services. You are the welcoming face of the event for anyone needing assistance or guidance.
