A condensed version of the Valais atmosphere
On this short and ultra-energetic format, the runners will have a condensed version of the Valais atmosphere: bucolic passages through the alpine pastures, exhilarating forest trails, breathtaking views of the 4000 meter peaks of the Valais, historical paths along the bisses… Indeed, the "small" race of the weekend has all the makings of a big one!

A bus service will be organised to take runners from Crans-Montana or Sierre to Leukerbad on the morning of the race.
Shuttles reservations will open later.

Saturday, 20th: from 12 to 4 pm
Leukerbad, HES-SO, Thermenstrasse 41, 3954 Leukerbad (100 metres from the start line)
Sunday, 21th : from 7:00 am to 8:45 am
Timings may be subject to change To ensure runners' safety, no bib may be collected by anyone other than the runner.

To avoid trafic jam, you'll be assigned a starting time according to your general UTMB index.
It's possible to start in a later wave, but not in an earlier one.
Runners starting earlier than expected will receive a 2 hours penalty.
- Wave 1 : 9:30 am (Index UTMB high / Bib number ...)
- Wave 2 : 9:45 am (Bib number ...)
- Wave 3 : 10:00 am (Index UTMB low / Bib number ...)
Note: Elite women with a UTMB general index above 680 will have their index increased by 14% to allow them to start in the first wave.

Supporters may still access the aid station and encourage their runner, but no assistance may be provided at the points identified as "without assistance".

When collecting their race numbers, each participant receives a 30-litre bag. After filling it with the items of their choice and closing it, they can leave it at the start and collect it at the finish in Crans-Montana, place Ycoor.
The organization will not take any personal bags
