Discover the must-see spots on the WILD 50 route that connects Adelboden to Crans-Montana
Adelboden
Adelboden is a family resort located in the Bernese Oberland, at an average altitude of 1353 meters. Between pre-Alps and Alps, the destination enjoys a unique landscape, alternating lush green alpine meadows and high rock walls. A charming blend of tradition and modernity, each winter Adelboden is host to the FIS ski race where the demanding slopes of the "Chuenisbärgli", are a key stop on the Alpine Ski World Cup circuit.
Rawil Pass
The Col de Rawil (2429 m above sea level) is a high mountain pass through the western Bernese Alps, connecting Lenk in the canton of Bern in Switzerland to Crans Montana in the canton of Valais. From Lenk it feels like the mental wall becomes physical with the steep climb (1400m+) that the runners will face, before rallying to finish.
Lake Tseuzier
Lake Tseuzier is an artificial reservoir created by the Rawyl Dam. Surrounded by forests, mountain pastures and an impressive panorama, this lake offers hikers a peaceful and rejuvenating moment in the heart of nature. The surroundings of the lake offer a magical setting: the Rawyl mountain pasture is framed by cliffs and vertiginous waterfalls.
La Bisse du Rho
This legendary canal carved delicately into the rock has brought water to crops since the Middle Ages. The perfectly secure route crosses several rocky switchbacks, slick corridors, as it winds its way through forests growing on rockbeds or avalanche zones. This stretch offers bursts of adrenaline in complete safety, with vertiginous passages and fascinating viewpoints.
