Physical fitness required for the following distances and gradients: Distance up to 17 km
↑ 1'100 m ascent ↓ 1'500 m ascent
Walking time approx. 7 h Rucksack with gear for 5 days. Total distance approx. 72 km, ↑3'900 m, ↓ 4'900 m, walking time approx. 27 h.
Difficulty Difficulty T3: The path on the ground is not necessarily visible throughout. Some exposed sections. You may need your hands for balance. Be sure-footed. Good non-slip trekking shoes.
Insurance We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance and have a donor card for helicopter rescue services (Air Glaciers, Air Zermatt, Rega).
Personal insurance cover (accident/sickness/theft/liability/etc.) is the responsibility of the participants.
The meeting point is at 8am on Wednesday 24 September at the departure point of the Gemmi cable car in Leukerbad.
The cable car departs at 8.30am.
Individual arrival in Leukerbad
The return journey is scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 28 September.
This trek is organised for between 4 and 8 participants. The total price varies according to the number of participants.

Prices are calculated per person on the basis of dormitory accommodation with half board. Depending on the accommodation, it may be possible to stay in a room for a small supplement.
