The flagship race offers a 113 km course with 6,600 m of elevation gain, based on an original idea by Jean-Yves Rey, winner of the 2009 CCC. The route makes a complete loop around the Wildstrubel massif and the Plaine Morte Glacier, crossing 2 cantons, 2 linguistic regions, and 5 internationally renowned destinations: Crans-Montana, Leukerbad, Kandersteg, Adelboden, and Lenk. Runners will pass from one canton to another via the legendary Gemmi Pass (2,268 m) and Rawyl Pass (2,427 m), reach the Wildstrubel hut, the highest point of the course, and follow the famous Via Alpina between Kandersteg and Lenk.
