Registration conditions

Registration will be open to the runners with a valid UTMB index only from October 29, 2024 at 10:00 am until October 31, 2024 at 10:00 am (period must be 48h long). At the end of this period, registrations will be open to runners with or without a valid UTMB index until the races are sold out. There will be no waiting list.

• Wild 110, Wild 70, Wild 50: Anyone born in 2007 (18 years old) or before
• Wild 25: Anyone born in 2009 (16 years old) or before
• Wild 10: Anyone born in 2007 (18 years old) or before
• Wild NextGen : Anyone born between 2015 (10 years old) and 2008 (17 years old)

In Switzerland it’s not compulsory to present a medical certificate for the competitions. However, we strongly recommend making effort tests with your specialist regularly for your own safety.

Each competitor must be in the possession of an individual insurance, valid in Switzerland, covering possible costs for accident and for search and rescue services. Such insurance can be taken with any organization of the competitor’s choice.

You can find more information HERE The organization does not take in charge any costs due to an evacuation. Rescue services in Switzerland are not free of charge.

Elite runners can gain a free entry to the UTMB World Series Events and UTMB World Series Majors* which is determined by their UTMB Index within the chosen race category.

All services listed below are included in the registration fee:

• Race Bib
• Time recording
• Gifts to participants
• Access to aid stations
• Transport of the drop bag (Wild 110), or bag (Wild 70, Wild 50, Wild 25)
• Transport to the start, only from Crans-Montana (Wild 70, Wild 50, Wild 25)
• Medical assistance
• After race services (Shower, rest room, massage, meal)

To another runner: The registration is strictly personal. However, once a race reaches its maximum capacity, it is possible to transfer the registration to another runner, provided that the latter meets the required criteria, including the appropriate age for the race. Transfers are allowed up to 4 weeks before the event (until August 21, 2025), by paying a transfer fee of 20 CHF.

The outgoing runner can initiate the transfer from their Dashboard (accessible from the MyUTMB account by clicking on "Edit"), by providing the email address of the receiving runner and then clicking on 'Transfer my bib.'

The receiving runner will receive a link allowing them to finalize their registration by only paying the transfer fee (20 CHF). Both runners must agree on the reimbursement terms for the registration fees. It is important to emphasize that the organization disclaims any responsibility for the management of this agreement. Additionally, options such as cancellation insurance cannot be transferred from the outgoing runner to the receiving runner. For runners wishing to exchange bibs, this will be considered as a bib transfer, and a fee of 20 CHF will be applied to each runner.

For reasons of responsibility and security, transferring the bib to another person without following the above procedure is not allowed.

To another race of the same event: It’s possible to transfer your registration to a shorter race until the 1st of September 2025. In this case, no refund will be made. If you wish to transfer your registration to a longer race, your category change will be effective once the payment of the price difference is made. Transfers will be possible only if the new race is not sold out, no transfers will be accepted when the race is sold out.

Runners may cancel their registration at any time via their runner's area.

If you HAVE taken out the cancellation insurance, depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be entitled to a full refund. To do so, you need to access your registration dashboard and click on Apply for a refund to cancel your registration and fill out the refund request form which will be addressed to the insurance. ATTENTION: before cancelling your registration, please make sure you have read the general terms and conditions HERE.

If you have NOT taken out the registration cancellation insurance, no refund will be possible. To cancel your registration, access your registration dashboard and click on the Cancel my registration button.

In the case of the cancellation of a race, for any reason whatsoever, decided more than 15 days before the departure date, a partial refund of the registration fees will be made. The amount of this refund will be determined in such a way as to enable the organization to cover all the non-recoverable expenses incurred as of the date of cancellation.

In the event of cancellation decided less than 15 days before departure or in the event of interruption of the race, for any reason whatsoever, no registration refund will be made.
