A real wild trail for passionate trailers: 2 passes, 2 climbs, 2 descents and 2 Cantons crossed:manicured mountain pastures of the Oberland, bucolic village of Lenk, and an arrival in the heart of Crans-Montana!
From the canton of Bern to the canton of Valais
Take the start in Adelboden at the heart of the Bern canton to get to Crans-Montana in the Valais canton. On the first leg of the journey, the runners will take the famous Via Alpina through the well-tended alpine pastures of the Bernese Oberland to reach the village of Lenk. This is followed by a magnificent but demanding 1400m+ climb, with passages on the side of the cliffs to reach the Rawil Pass (2,427m). The last section in a downhill profile takes you along the sublime lake of Tzeuzier to reach the vertiginous and no less splendid Bisse du Ro. A change of scenery guaranteed!
